Asian Hope International School is
dedicated to provide a high quality, child-centred education, in a
safe and pleasant Christian environment, ensuring that every child
feels worthy and appreciated.
Asian Hope International School is a
bi-lingual school for Cambodian children and our classes will be
taught in English and Khmer, helping the children to appreciate and
retain their own culture, while being prepared to take their place
in the global world.
Teaching will be done from a
Christian world view but always in a very open and unpressured
atmosphere, recognizing that the children come from different
religious backgrounds.
The vision of the school is to
provide good, quality Christian education for Cambodian children. We
plan to use the Cambodian government school curriculum, plus, plus
plus!
It is our aim to prepare Cambodians
to be able to take the Cambodian school leaving exams for entry into
Cambodian Universities. At a later stage we will look for
international accreditation to keep options open for our students.
We will be running a bi-lingual
program (Khmer and English) and will have a native English speaking
teacher in each class as well as a Cambodian teaching assistant who
have a very good level of spoken English as well as understanding in
the language.
